Maybe it won't be on his radar until approval. I could see not counting chickens before they hatch.
Sure, you don't count your chickens before they hatch, but he still knows about it. Saying something like it "has not progressed at all" seems kinda extreme. I'm deluxe fudster extraordinaire, but I would never say GBM research hasn't advanced at all knowing full well what I do about DCVax.
Like I said, I'm not putting too much worry into it because he wasn't talking about DCVax, it was an unplanned response to a live inquiry, and ya' just can't read too deep into things like this. But it doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies, that's for sure.
