Garry can make whatever point he wants. There is good reason to assume that this will go to discovery as a settlement prior to that would just cause them to have to defend the next identical suit,

You can pencil in the forward progress:

. Both sides will object to the R&R in the next 2 weeks.
. Both will reply a few weeks after,.
.The Judge will rule as per the R&R shortly after
.There will be months of back and forths on how discovery is to be implemented.
.By H2 it will start actually discovery and we will hear no actual details.
.In H1 2026 it gets interesting.

Probably the fastest timeline for anything real to happen around here.

What makes you think that LP wants to settle. I doubt it she will go all the way. They have put the company through 10 years of misery. I will bet she is going all the way.
