I think we agree on some of the main points but I don’t think the switch is about experienced negotiators, I think Lebby honestly believed that Tier 1s will run for his polymers because they are 10X better than anything else out there, he held his grounds knowing what he was selling, he was strong armed and showed the door. Maybe his confidence was expressed as arrogance I don’t know but I do know that many people (Tier 1s) in this case can do things “out of spite” and “because they can” you think industries work in harmony and everyone loved Lebby and wanted him to succeed ? Even Marcelli who should be fired back stabbed him with the new gang.
Again these are my own interpretations and speculations. Either way Yves confirmed what Lebby was saying and that is there is NOTHING out there that comes close to what we have.

I think Michael was indeed close to a deal as otherwise the lawyers would never have allowed the December 2023 PR.

But the deal failed.
