List is getting longer of Airplanes suffering glitching over a 1 week period. 1 more major airliner and 2 regional airliners also suffered malfunctions bringing our total to not adding in the small airplanes listed in my previous post.
December 31st -
After being airborne for over one hour and 30 minutes, the flight crew reported some technical issues with the engine. The crew did not declare an emergency and decided to make a precautionary landing back at LAX.
December 30th - SkyWest flight out of Charleston makes emergency landing; passengers shaken up but safe
"I smelled something and it's like a burning smell. When I smelled that my body kind of went into shock my body was like, ‘Oh this isn't good,'" she recalled. "Everyone was just kind of looking around and the guy beside me, I asked him, ‘Did you smell bad?’ He's like, ‘Yeah, I smell that.'"
Suddenly, the smoke alarms in the plane went off, and the passenger said a flight attendant on board started to panic.
“She seemed to be panicking, so I knew it wasn’t good,” the passenger said. “The way she was acting, it was like, ‘OK. This is a real-life situation.’”
Oxygen masks dropped from above and the plane was forced to land at the Dayton International Airport in Ohio. The passenger said she saw others start to pray.
The passenger decided not to board another aircraft and is unsure how soon she’ll fly again.
“I’m not ready to get back on an airplane right now, but I’m hoping with therapy that I’ll be able to work through it,” she said.
Jan 1st - Another plane makes emergency landing at Dayton Airport this week
Officials at the Dayton International Airport say a CRJ 200 Air Wisconsin flight was boarded and took off for Philadelphia from Dayton on Wednesday afternoon but was forced to return.
