Daiichi MC was increased by $30b in one day after the PR on the collaboration between Merck and Daiichi. What would happen to the company if a BP spends 70% or 80% of its M&A budget on the company? Cannot you see it? It is always BP's standard norm in terms of collaboration: front payment first with some promise on further payment in the long term before a trial and then more payment after the trial is successful. I suspect the same routine will be repeated on NWBO with much higher price tag.
