is in the Village of Lena. That’s who you should have called, not the county. The Village of Lena would need to approve the sale of Lena to APRU, and there would be a public hearing on the matter.

Lastly, all CURRENT owners are listed on the alcohol licenses issued by the state and are updated DAILY.

But hey, at least you tried.

I posted several meeting agendas and minutes when Lena was still licensed through the county.

Here’s a change of ownership that had to be voted on.

Scroll down and you’ll see the Stephenson County Liquor Commission minutes for the past 5 years. They only meet when they have something to address.

This was the response I got on April 15th at 2:13 pm. The Liquor Commission's approve transfers of ownership of entities that produce and/or sell alcohol.

Our Liquor Commissioner did reach out to the owner of Lena Brewing Co and confirmed that LBC is not transferring any ownership to Apple Rush.
