The latest communication (OFC 2024) about the PIC development confirms that the technology was still in progress, but with the strong interest of TIER1 partners and the market’s urgency, it’s possible that Lightwave Logic decided to shift their strategy and focus. It’s plausible that the PIC is now being further developed specifically for customers and directly aligned with their needs, which would fall under the NDA with the TIER1 partners. This is a scenario that aligns well with the current situation, and I hope we will receive the full information soon.
Regarding the development of the PIC, it's important to acknowledge that Lightwave Logic may have decided not to provide demos anymore. Given the rapid market demand and strong interest from TIER1 partners, it’s quite possible that the technology is now being developed specifically for clients. This means that the partners want to integrate the technology themselves, without a public demonstration of the full PIC being necessary. This perfectly fits the previously mentioned NDAs with these parties. The market changes and the need to move quickly may explain why the company has not made a public announcement about the development. Instead, they may have continued these developments behind the scenes and optimized the process directly with the partners.

It’s important to understand that working with these major industry players takes time and patience. The messages coming from the organization confirm progress, but it would be unrealistic to expect all details to be disclosed immediately.
