Any long or newbie should seriously study my last post.

I spent several hours researching and thinking about MRLWLG101's post and the new narrative that longs have taken hold of.

It actually sounded kind of good when I first read it - especially when you read Marcelli's "We are working with the biggest transceiver companies in the world" hyperbole from his desperate "high level executive" phone call with a shareholder in July.

But it just doesn't make much sense, and the company has said so many things that provide insight into the real picture if you work hard enough to decipher.

Dr Lebby's reputation was on the line after the Dec 4 2023 shareholder letter. He really tried to "re-set" shareholder expectations this year - and that continued in the ASM, but Marcelli wasn't having any of that.

The final clues hopefully will be found in the year end shareholder letter from either Yves or Tom (maybe both). But we've gotten a glimpse in the "resignation" PR where they didn't even mention the PIC, but mentioned new verticals and new opportunities.

The pivot has begun.

Hi Ted,

You wrote about the mysterious PIC at 200g per lane.

“We are talking about something that has never been done before: 4x200gpbs. It could take a few more months, or it could take a few more years, or it may not be possible to do.”

Look up Poet Technologies, they demoed this PiC with Insiga at the CIOE in September/24……also working with Mitsubishi on 400g per lane for 3.2T optical engine. They are getting a lot of interest because they have products and can customize to customer needs quickly with their Optical Interposer platform.

“Discussions. Not active partnerships where products are BEING designed.. Discussions. Where is the evidence that they are actively working together on customized PIC designs, and creating demos? “

Poet has you covered here too. Look up their partnerships .
