In my opinion the treatment was known to work by 2015 when the screening halt kicked in and 17 SOC/placebo patients were kept out by regulators. The problem was the business model for commercialization of the product which will have taken 10 years to develop from that point to the point of being a real scalable business model with full primary reimbursement models instead of secondary pathways in hand.
