#334692 RE: GetSeriousOK #334686

The following reply (from an Assisi Loop distributor) was in response to a question asking if the Assisi Loop can be used on humans:

"The technology behind the Assisi Loop is based on the same principles as the human version of the product, which is FDA-cleared for certain health issues".

The "human version" is obviously the Actipatch. Looks like the Assisi Loop is "making bank" infringing on the Actipatch patent.

The specs (frequency, pulse rate, etc.) for Actipatch and Assisi are nearly identical. The only thing that would make Assisi stronger (higher strength) is a smaller diameter loop, which they have, but the bigger seller is the larger diameter version, which is larger than Actipatch and, therefore, weaker!

The Assisi Loop retail price is $329 for a 150 hour battery life (600 fifteen minute treatments), so the equivalent price compared to RecoveryRx Veterinary is 720/150 x 329 = $1,579.
