I most always have a slice or two of wholemeal bread, too. Heavy crust not so comfortable if eating minus bottom denture, even uncomfortable with it. Will cook two at a time, most always do. I think I'm going to save my pennies and invest in a Sous Vide cooker. My relative swears by it. I can never pronounce it yet. And you can use a heavy duty zip lock bag by lowering it into the water letting the water pressure push the air out.. so an expensive vacuum machine isn't a must have.
