In what world do you not make the game up when your back in atlanta? Nope according to you your gonna fly in there for 1 day, travel from somewhere, to travel somewhere else when you make a return trip back later in the year no team would do that. every team would have had the game scheduled for that thursday. Nobody is gonna forecast a hurricane 5 months in advance on that day. That is no fault of anyone not knowing a hurricane would hit 5 months in advance, and there is no fault to wanting to play the game on a common off day when your allready in Atlanta, you make it sound like that is a absurd decision to make, when it is the right and the smart one.

Explain to me why the padres and brewer should get a free pass of facing and opponent that is severely compromised, if you don't have a starting pitching forget the bullpen for a second you are basically handing the other team the series. You don't have to have the sp you want, but one of your 5 should be on regular rest. I'm not against playing those games as long as they move the series to wednesday. That can also work in fairness. But you have to have a SP, if you don't have 1 of those than you are simply being unfair, which to be clear is far more an embarrassment, than playing meaningless games for seeding, when both teams allready earned the playoffs if they are in by sunday.

Plenty of years teams did not played 162 games for various reasons when the games don't matter. Why were the mets to play 160 in 1988 and make the playoffs. Look I could do this with every team, your acting like every team has always played 162 just look up the team you will find there were many year teams didn't it is that simple.

And to be clear the bigger embarrassment will be if baseball forces the braves and mets to play playoff games with no sp and no bullpen that is where your basically handing the other team the series win. Shouldn't it be earned?

You give me the example of a team being forced to play A dh regular season games for seeding into a playoff game elsewhere the next day. It has never been done is my understanding. So lets not make like this is normal.
