1. Tesla: The Pied Piper of Self-Driving Dreams

So, the theory is Tesla is a house of cards built on Elon Musk's overly enthusiastic pronouncements about self-driving cars? Hold on, let me grab my fainting couch. Here's the thing:

Imagine if Tesla DID crack self-driving overnight. We'd have a world filled with cars navigating rush hour like bumper cars at a carnival – hilarious, but not exactly a utopia.

Elon Musk might be as good at predictions as a weatherman in a hurricane zone, but hey, at least he's trying to push the boundaries (even if those boundaries occasionally push back).

2. The "Fake it Till You Make it" EV Bonanza

This one claims Tesla's stock is a mirage fueled by self-driving hype. Here's the counterpoint:

People might be drawn to Tesla for the self-driving carrot, but let's not forget the sleek design, the electric oomph, and the whole "saving the planet" thing. EVs are a hot commodity, self-driving or not!

Besides, if Tesla were truly a Theranos-level scam, wouldn't the wheels have fallen off by now? Maybe they're held on with duct tape and optimism, but hey, they're still rolling!

3. BYD: The Voice of Reason (or Maybe Just Chicken?)

BYD says full self-driving is a fool's errand. Maybe they're right. Teaching a car to navigate rush hour with all the human emotions involved is like teaching a goldfish chess – technically possible, but highly impractical.

But here's the thing: while full self-driving might be a distant dream, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are already a reality, making roads a little safer (emphasis on "little").
The Takeaway:

Self-driving cars might be the flying cars of yesteryear – a cool idea that might take a while (or never) to truly take flight. But hey, at least Tesla's trying, the EV market is booming, and BYD can always stick to making killer factory robots, right?

So, the next time someone throws around the "fake it till you make it" label, remember, sometimes the journey (even if it involves a few bumps and detours) is just as important as the destination.

The key to the fake it until it makes it scam is this: "intentionally overstating, and thereby misrepresenting" "current capabilities". Musk has done and does this on a yearly basis. Musk himself claims Tesla isnt worth near whats its valued without this tech. In fact his hyperbole has valued TSLA at 0 without self driving tech. I'd say Tesla should be valued closer to other car companies without its autonomous tech. The same tech that will power its Optimus bots which will go out of control just like its cars do if they ever get to market.

it was arguably a referendum on “fake it till you make it” practices, such as intentionally overstating, and thereby misrepresenting, a fledgling company’s current capabilities, success, or profitability, while banking on the notion that its aspirations will eventually follow the desired trajectory and become a reality.

Man dies in single-vehicle Tesla crash in Parksville

Emergency crews responded to an incident at the intersection of Resort Drive and Tanglewood Place at approximately 2:30 p.m. where a white Tesla operating as a taxi had left the roadway and collided with two trees, according to a news release by Oceanside RCMP.

The driver, a 66 year-old Parksville resident, was located deceased and there were no other occupants in the vehicle, police said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation and is being led by the Oceanside RCMP Municipal Traffic Unit in conjunction with the RCMP’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service, the BC Coroners Service and Worksafe BC.

Section 2 - The computer errors from outer space
(Elon Musk: Model S not a car but a ‘sophisticated computer on wheels’)

When computers go wrong, we tend to assume it's just some software hiccup, a bit of bad programming. But ionising radiation, including rays of protons blasted towards us by the sun, can also be the cause. These incidents, called single-event upsets, are rare and it can be impossible to be sure that cosmic rays were involved in a specific malfunction because they leave no trace behind them.

And yet they have been singled out as the possible culprits behind numerous extraordinary cases of computer failure. From a vote-counting machine that added thousands of non-existent votes to a candidate's tally, to a commercial airliner that suddenly dropped hundreds of feet mid-flight, injuring dozens of passengers

Plus, since giant ejections from the sun can sometimes send huge waves of particles towards Earth, what's called space weather, an unnerving prospect looms: we could see much more disruption to computers than we're used to during a massive geomagnetic storm in the future

Section 3 - Superseding and/or Intervening Force

Tesla argues it had no control in the crash and death which were "caused by a superseding and/or intervening force."

There you have it folks Tesla admits an outside force caused this Tesla to glitch and go out of control. That is true, its not Teslas fault, per se, that its vehicles go out of control. Its the destabilized electromagnetic environment we are experiencing as a result of the earths continued weakening of its magnetic field. While I do not disagree that this is an outside force causing its vehicles to go out of control, its precisely why computers on wheels (Teslas/EVs/computerized ICE) should not be on the roads. Because these vehicles will continue to go out of control and with more frequency putting the greater public in danger. EVs will continue to destroy lives whether through killing those involved, created long-term psychological damage, or leading to the incarceration of people who did nothing wrong other than drive an EV.
Also as Tesla is aware of the problem and does not warn the public its liable for everyone of its vehicles going out of control!

Section 5 -Tesla suffers SUA and drives into a parking garage wall.

I'm begging all of you to NEVER get in a Tesla as long as you live. It started accelerating on its own in a parking garage and my dad lost all control of the car and we ran into a wall at 40 mph. Most horrifying experience of my life.

Section 8 - Hutchison Effect & Teslas Whompy Wheel issue

Jain is one of tens of thousands of Tesla owners who have experienced premature failures of suspension or steering parts, according to a Reuters review of thousands of Tesla documents. The chronic failures, many in relatively new vehicles, date back at least seven years and stretch across Tesla’s model lineup and across the globe, from China to the United States to Europe, according to the records and interviews with more than 20 customers and nine former Tesla managers or service technicians.

https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/tesla-musk-steering-suspension/

The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. However the most likely culprit seems to be a combination of electromagnetic sources coming together in a way to change the makeup of metals leading to their rusting, softening, fracturing, complete breaking, even dustification. Keep in mind the degree of metal materials that are within our buildings and infrastructure...even in concrete. Maybe this is why we are seeing an increase in building and bridge collapses?
