A Federal Appellate Court in one district can have personal jurisdiction (ie, exercise authority) over a company located in another district if there are sufficient “minimum contacts” between the corporation and the forum state (the state where the court is located). These contacts can include conducting business, maintaining offices, or having substantial connections within the state. As previously noted, Auctus utilized Maxim as its go-between in the NY area when dealing with XERIANT.
