The company requested orphan designation in their MHRA application. It doesn’t mean they received it, but they actually do have it with the FDA… and maybe the EU (I’m not sure on EU… I’d have to research that one to confirm… flip or even ex may know).

Do you recall when the OD designation was?

Granted by the FDA in 2002, that would be 22 years ago,. So I doubt the nature results mattered. But it is for all primary malignant brain cancers, so rGBM is included.
