yeah, I never lived in the city because it's not my preference. I do live in cook county though which encompasses a ton of area outside of the city. We have forests, lakes and ponds just like you..

I don't blame anyone for moving out here. I never could figure out why people wanted to live downtown in the first place. Unless you're like blackhawks who has lake micihgan at his doorstep and lakefront beauty down trails as far as the eye can see.. I could do that in a heartbeat but these days there's no way I'd be able to afford it. I missed the boat on that one and chose to stay out here..

No tech industry is ever going to move to a state like yours where education is basically non-existent, teachers and doctors are fleeing, hospitals are closing, women can't find an OBGYN and are guaranteed to die if god forbid they need an abortion.
