To address the overall thrust of your questions many disruptive technologies advanced by small players get ignored by established players, especially if they do not fit into their business model.

DCVax-L and Direct are disruptive technologies that do not fit into Big Pharma’s business model or even the business model of hospitals and oncologists (though this to a lesser degree). Direct could even disrupt not just chemo and radiation but down the road could also reduce reliance on surgery if used as an alternative for operative tumors (right now it’s intended for inoperable).

For one example, look at the fact Blockbuster turned down the chance to buy Netflix in its infancy. Where is Blockbuster now?

That’s true, but also many tiny bios also don’t pop early, and even get a product approved that is way better than other products on the market and still don’t pop. Markets and competition in these markets are not completely obvious from a market cap perspective. The markets are driven often by people waiting for other people or forces to give them “the sign”, and that “sign” can often be delayed. There can be other dynamics at work. You still have to use your common sense. But if timing is wrong for you, or your skeptical, why waste time here with us? The markets are large, go chase your dream company. No need to hash it out here with people who are invested and do think otherwise than you do.

LP has complete control and she knows what this platform technology is worth. True value likely wasn’t offered prior to JAMA peer-reviewed article with 70+ internationally respected physicians and scientist co-authors. LP saw commercial approval in sight after JAMA publication. Why do a deal when you’re weeks away from commercial approval. Better to wait until approval then the price goes way up and patients are guaranteed the treatment. Game, set, match.

ROS-CH - The notion that big companies are wise and all knowing is a false pretense. Look at the asinine decision Boeing made by moving it's highly competent manufacturing base from Oregon to South Carolina. Where the company literally hired people who can't read, and enjoy getting high on the job. When asked undercover, if they would ever fly on the planes they're responsible for building safely, it was always the same answer, NO! If that wasn't crazy enough, Boeing had the veteran whistleblower killed one day before his deposition date. Knowing how easy it is to manipulate the public, I expect this dark episode will disappear from the public's consciouseness fairly quickly.
