He clearly stressed that it was a big deal from the standpoint of COMMERCIAL ACCEPTANCE.

He used that reasoning as the justification for not discussing progress with Foundries any further.

The IMPLICATION of that was that the deal was a Foundry deal of the type that goes into transceivers.

That's why so many here were immediately expecting tech transfer deals in the coming months - 100% focused on commercialization, remember?

Ah, the great fortune teller KCC with another one of his predictions.

You obviously have a lot of knowledge about the technology, KCC, which is great - but frankly, your track record is no better than proto's when it comes to making business predictions. (That's a fairly damning comparison, given that proto has been dead wrong in his predictions for over a decade).

Newcomers should keep that track record in mind when paying attention to any prognostications from KCC and should take those predictions with a huge, huge, huge, huge grain of salt.

While it might be reassuring to hear KCC say things like "I believe a foundry license/tech transfer is finally going to be announced sooner rather than later", always remember how many of KCC's predictions have come true over the years. Hint: none.

Again, he is very knowledgeable about the technology side of things. Just perhaps a little too optimistic about the progress LWLG is or isn't making towards commercialization.
