They didn’t play games. It took a while to negotiate and was announced after their quarterly board meeting before the shareholder meeting.

Lebby acknowledged that the significance of the deal is that it’s the first one and not necessarily that it was a big deal.

Even before the announcement, we’ve all (well…definitely not all) known that material-only license agreements right now are not huge revenue deals.

The type of deal that matters is a tech transfer and I have my own theories why that has not been announced.

BUT…I believe a foundry license/tech transfer is finally going to be announced sooner rather than later.
