Please see the replied to post for full info on short interest, there will be a new report this Wednesday. I think it is notable that while short interest went down to about 17.5 million last fall, by 1/13/23 it was close to 20 million and it has remained in this range, They are unable to cover.

Note that short interest was bumped up from 12/15 to 12/30 to take the stock below $5. Short count continues to rise while the number of shares traded continues to decline. In the summer of 2022 short interest was at 20 million for three reporting periods, then they were able to cover about two million. Short interest went back to the $19-20 million range for the EOY dump and has remained there for six reporting periods. Only 6/30/22 had a higher short interest than the current count.
