I'll drink to that! Here, we used to or may still have a beer glass called a Boomba? It's a squat big round glass, usually with a thick stem. Looks to be 2 pints of beer. I've seen it both here and in Canada.
Upon checking they appear to be 32 American ounces. And apparently an older style.

When I spent some time (a month) down under in the late '90's, my favorite beer was Victoria Bitter so I just loaded up the sink in my room with ice and chilled down those big green tins in the sink ..... didn't use glasses. Now I know! I think!
