Long story short - they had some 5G tech that ATT wanted. Stock was 15, they offered 90, then a month later Verizon jumped in and offered 184. This information is really hard to find now since it happened in 2017, but i remember that the stock actually traded well above $200 / share after the Verizon offer was announced because SHORTS WERE FORCED TO COVER.
