Xena, that's kinda my thought. I suspect some of the hires will be trained as "Chefs" to go supervise the cooks in the Fab kitchens. I could be wrong, but it seems Lebby suggested that last year's delay on "DEALS" was due to the Chefs in the Fab kitchens probably not following the EXACT recipe. I optimistically believe that topic is now addressed. I don't have any knowledge or experience in the semiconductor industry, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I know my way around a kitchen, but when I cook something using my mom's recipe, it always comes out a bit different, but good. When it comes to technology in this industry, it is clearly evident there is NO room for deviation from the process....

I don't think scientists are being hired to close DEALS, nor would I want them to. Anyone that doesn't think that every successful company has their own sales force, is not aware of the business aspect of these companies.
