No, that’s not what they said and melanoma is a simple cancer with other very effective treatments already because the antigen targets are few. It doesn’t require personalization.
Personalization for them is a buzzword they want to plug into. Retail is unsophisticated and all they are actually offering is more customization, and not to the person, to the type of cancer. That is not a lot different than what has gone before except that their technology is more modular and easier to assemble for a new, off-the-shelf vaccine.
Customization is not personalization. It will not be per individual but per cancer.
