Regardless of the outcome of the court cases - the Government will never pay damages. If the lose they will appeal and stretch this out into the indefinite future. And if they think they may lose any appeals - in the meantime they have a lot of options like compromising by ending the conservatorship. This is not a bad outcome for us - but its clear that the Government will never pay anything out of pocket. Why should they?
