X I still think if we had something cooking and are that close there is no way shorts could hold this down. There are too many people involved in this process and a NDA isn't going to keep it under wraps. No way the price would have dropped like that.
I was just looking over the Lightwave slide presentation, and noticed some interesting items when comparing Slides 23 to 25.
Foundry A is listed as going to use "polymer plus" however when looking at the actual mircoscope images from Foundry A is says "Grating Coupler for Si Slot modulator from Foundry A" and another image that says "Splitter/Combiner for Si Slot MZ Modulator from Foundry A", and two other photos for rib to slot, slot to rib convertors.
Z or others, does this mean that Foundry A is also working on "polymer slot" as well as "polymer plus" which is how Lightwave states it in their slide #23 from link below?
I also noticed that Foundries A, B and C are labeled for polymer plus, but then all the other Foundries D - G will be making Polymer Slot modulator designs. It seems the Polymer Slot is where the design will excel with layering multiple slots per modulator as Lebby presented initially at the ASM in May 2022.
