Hardly, when one looks at the accomplishments at Lightwave it is quite impressive.

But I understand why the shorts are so concerned because the shorts have borrowed 15 to 20% of the total shares and sold them to folks and institutions that are long.

Now the shorts need to convince someone to sell so that they can purchase back shares cheaper and they need to do it in a hurry.

What is the rush you ask why are they so concerned?

The company announced another new world record in speed from a different company (280 Gbit/s with sub-1V drive signals and it is only ¼ inch long), Lightwaves material is 3 times faster than today’s materials and check it out, now it is using only 1/10 the power, A Partnership was brought out from NDA, They celebrated their first year on the Nasdaq (No dilution on the up list HUGE). They Proved the Stability and Can fit 120 Modulators (24 Terra Bit) in the space of 1 (TFNL 800G) Folks that is a 30 fold increase and it is less than 1/2" long! 120 Modulators WOW, not 30% but 30 times the data (remember the old Lumera 4" 100 gig modulators?). There are 5 foundries working and so far are 2 producing results (See Below). Lightwaves Modulators are driven directly from CMOS guys so that saves a component that increases the voltage required for today’s power hungry devices, Saves power ~2-3X at device level and ~5-10X at board level (GREEN). So it saves the cost of installing a driver at the foundry and reduces the power costs for operating data centers. These devises are easily mass produced in Silicon Foundries. The material will be supplied directly from Lightwave logic (no supply chain issues) by a total of about 50 employees. Do the math on that 50 Employees proving the magic for Billions of Dollars of devices, and it is only available from Lightwave Logic.
