Fireman, I'll agree with you that discussions on partnerships and perhaps buyouts have occurred, perhaps terms have actually been agreed on, but we know that LP isn't going to take even a substantial multiple of the current price, and partners or buyers don't pay more than double the current price. If terms have been agreed to you can bet that there is a double digit price that L.P. wants and the stock must reach at least half that price before anything is announced.
I don't know that things have advanced that far, but it's certainly possible. If a partnership were going to be announced once the share price exceeded say $6, the potential partner might very well have Institutions they're friendly with help to build the share price once it's reached the $4 to $5 range. They want the partnership and having agreed to the price they'll pay, they'll assist in getting the share price to what they want to see to announce the partnership.
I believe that LP will take somewhat less in a partnership than she'll demand in a buyout, but even in a partnership I believe it will be a double digit price which will value the company at nearly $20 billion.
