Lrt65, please reference post 64495,and 64503, you will see that Merrily is real and does exist at the SEC. Also, as Sam suggested , do a reverse lookup on the phone number and it's in DC. I also did an address check on Joseph's address and it's a valid address but so are about 12 others at that location, all businesses.
So now the question of whether the email is real or not, that's the mystery as you call it. Could it be the actual response to his complaint portraying the status of the SEC investigation with GTEM???very possible....Or could it be a leak from the SEC, possibly but not very likely. Now we have the question of where the most credibility exixts here....Joseph, SEC, GTEM, published docs, logic, motive, some long-time posters on this board. That's one for everyone to consider with meticulous know-how. Then only can you try and solve the mystery. The clues run rampant and I doubt the investigation is over but ya never know..JMHO
