I think we will be moving forward with the Petition for Certiorari. I am now working on the logistics of the costs (The printing/filing service alone costs $5000) for the GoFundMe, and formulating the Questions to be presented to the Court.
Our filing deadline is May 16, 2021. So the plan is use March for research and planning. Write in April. File in May.
This is a very different exercise than an appeal. Because of the long odds of the Petition being granted, the Questions have to be formulated in a way to get the Court's attention on a policy level beyond the concerns of our case. It is an extraordinary undertaking given the precision required.
