No idea. It’s simply a phenomenon that long timers have witnessed from many different angles. I’m not a fan, unlike Doc, of this phenomenon, but I remain an observer.

I agree, price holding would literally be illegal price manipulation and would open them up to massive litigation. Very unlikely.
