Phil, You are talking my kind of language. Them deep fry turkey/goose fryers are pretty small in diameter. I think it will take less then $10 to fill it up with the turkey/goose inside and you can keep the grease for quite awhile. I will keep you informed on how it comes out. Can't wait to try it out, probably Thanksgiving. Looks like this one.

Phil...Deep-fried turkey is big around here.. and in Louisiana but one has to be very careful when cooking it because of grease fires. It is delicious!

Personally, I prefer the traditional method of cooking turkey along with cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, baked yams, cranberries, English peas with pearl onions, Waldorf salad and/or ambrosia, pumpkin pie with whipped cream and possibly a pecan pie.
