I would never suggest the v-Wave supplant AIM and its activity. Assist, yes. Replace, no.
I find it comforting when my AIM activity creates a cash reserve percentage that parallels what the v-Wave is suggesting. That goes for both high and low risk periods. It would be of concern if AIM were to be out of sync with it. That can happen with a portfolio that is specialized and not broadly diversified.
In general, it serves us well over time.
