I just got back from a trip to Phoenix and Vegas. I've never seen so many looooooooong trains. Is it common to have three engines in the middle of long trains? I saw that several times.

Coming across the Texas panhandle, on I-40, I started counting big rig trucks, headed West. In one 30 mile stretch, I counted 302 big rigs. In another I counted 312, in a 30 mile stretch.

When we got in Okla I counted 310, in 30 miles. That seems like a lot to me.
