Excellent summary. This certainly gives Pfizer a feel for how things
could play out for them if they become involved in other parts of the
world. Perhaps Pfizer will become involved in other smaller jurisdictions
such as in South America. "If" Pfizer were ever to own AMRN, I wonder
if they could in some way help to facilitate further sales in China with
a similar type agreement with Eddingpharm.

I recall reading an article about how Thero decided to do a deal with
HLS. (I was disappointed at the time as I thought making such a deal
with a company that did not at the time have a sales force was lame...
I also thought at the time that a deal with a BP for Canada could
lead to interest by that BP in a potential BO down the road.) Maybe
that will still end up being the case here.

Pdude, For the most part I agree with you. The press release said that HLS would be recording the revenue. That makes sense because of the deal they have with Amarin. Amarin will get the same percentage no matter who helps HLS sell Vascepa. What interested me the most about the PR is what wasn't there. No mention of how Pfizer was going to be compensated. Most of the time when companies announce partnership agreements what both sides get from the deal is in the announcement. Pfizer also apparently isn't going to market any of the other drugs sold by HLS. Just Vascepa. Pfizer is a monster. HLS has 25 reps. I wonder how many people Pfizer is putting in the field?

Prude, but they will also be making money for Amarin since they get a percentage of sale and milestone payments. If it was only HLS and PFE affected ok. But that isn’t the case.

Assuming Prepare-It 1 has positive results, can that information be used by Pfizer's Canadian sales reps when they visit physicians?

I am guessing that American sales reps will not be able to share that information with physicians. The first amendment win and the debate on this site confuses me as to what information reps can share with physicians. And what management has decided not to share.
