Those custodianships are pretty much rubber stamped by judges long before Covid as discussed on this board previously.
They are great trading vehicles - especially for those frontloading them with prior knowledge of the cases even being filed. George Sharp’s recent cases are a good example. Only problem is he has been met with resistance as demonstrated on most recent case with Retech that resulted in a court hearing that was actually put on zoom for many to observe what happens.
George’s success in being awarded the cases isn’t going as well as other shell peddlers. Yet when he loses the custodianships he is quick to point out it is a win for shareholders because he made the company file something.
George is never a loser - always spins it to him looking like a hero.

Of interest the same lawyers that defended the Retech case have shown up on the EVERLERT case in Washoe County as their lawyers.
I think they are onto George and his true motives. Hope it is zoomed as well. It really is a great learning experience understanding the custodianship cases that are contested.

Yes- EXCELLENT INFO :)

These ZOOM hearings in many ways have been a blessing in disguise as "The Public" can now "sit in" and watch a hearing w/o having to be at the court house like the old days.

The real "remedy" of course - is the new SEC laws kicking-in full gear in Sept this year and ALL these dark/defunct and Caveat junk shells are going to be mass suspended using omnibus drag-net orders w/ no more mercy and no more delays.

It's why there's been a flurry of "alernative filer" actions by a lot of the OTC trash out their to "try" and get "Pink Current" or they go gray sheet instantly and are dead for good for the most part !

George Sharp/RETC/EVLI

Interesting case against George and his tactics for gaining custodianships.
Particularly his method using emergency motions to nab companies quicker.

Everlert case hearing is still active after being reopened.
Lawyers for RETC are also lawyers for EVERLERT.

Look in the IBOX here for part of the case:

This is the zoom hearing that is being continued in a few more days.
Zoom hearings are proving to be educational AND entertaining.

i.e. George’s lawyer at the end not realizing he was still on zoom and having a conversation with George on phone.
And Mark Blankenship sitting in on the zoom hearing with his toddler sitting in his car seat.

*takes a few minutes to get everyone on zoom. You can slide the timer bar along to get going.
