Makes absolutely NO sense. The only justification I can think of is if they didn't do it that way they felt they would loose 90% of the sales force, which would have made lot's of people here happy.
However the fact is that Dr.s' get most of their new drug info from the sales rep. There is just too much to read, the rep. get's them to focus. Hell, Amarin should pay me, I educated my Cardiologist
