The decision on keeeping the full sales force is another that is easy to critique in hindsight. No one knew the covid would last anywhere near this long or impact doctor access and his long. They, presumably did not want to loose a trained workforce and wanted to be humane in supporting their employees thru the crisis. These were not unreasonable decisions at the time.
In my mine the bigger problems were communications with insurers and pharmacies and the silly DTC ads that didn't,t have a serious medical tone and the lack of social media and engagement in the medical talk and radio shows. Hopefully these are changing.
