Never said people need patents to sell product in countries.

Really?

I asked directly: https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=162268711

You're disputing KBLB has Exclusive Commercial Rights to sell their products Worldwide?

The response: https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/replies.aspx?msg=162268711

Yes. I am disputing exactly that.

“The fact that Thompson held off announcing this for months means he knew it was only a small positive development.”

The FACTS, for those so reliant on verifiable facts, would be we don’t know why Kim chose to wait and release this news now.

OPINION noted.

I said the protection that KBLB has against competitors is only good in Canada.

Who is arguing with that?

don’t you want KBLB to be protected from knockoff products?

No one is arguing for no IP protection anywhere.

Right now, we don’t have much competition, but if the market proves out, others would like a piece of the KBLB pie.

The market has already indicated it thinks it will be blockbuster, with the first announced $40M deal. China's efforts bear that out as well.

Canada is a tiny step forward.

It is bigger than you think. The biggest impediment to foreign patents is that they are expensive. No more should need said on that.

Approval in Canada means more countries will follow eventually. As far as the U.S. goes....my intuition says that Sangamo got the IP read correctly in going with KBLB, when they were going to go with someone else lobbying for their tech.

Governments generally don't want to be first adapters. As a rule, when the first falls, others fall in line.

The fact that Thompson held off announcing this for months

Thompson held it off...this is a fact?

knew it was only a small positive development.

I'll stick to the opposite sentiment.
