Nothing about this forces a short position to cover. The short position is treated exactly the same as a long position...it is cut by 1 for 4. I am pretty sure George knows this but continues to BS about it.
But yes...the company needs to authorize the TA to issue the new stock.
And listening to George today describe today’s increase to short covering with the other bullshit is only going to cause trouble for this stock.
