You're giving clues Janice: "We moved to Indiana when I began junior high." I thought I saw something about you being in Indiana which I dismissed as unlikely. There was a photo that purported to be Janice Shell... a hottie in a revealing field hockey uniform. Again, I might not be right on that exact point. Did you get your deep voice from a stick across the throat?

There are lots of mistakes in those databases. One photo of me was the guy who came after me in alphabetical order.

In the world of athletics there was nothing I was better at than rope climbing which was actually an Olympic sport around 1904.

Yes, I found one HS that had an aviation club around 1928. A Lindbergh connection no doubt.

Outta posts now. Thanks for the shot of Jerry and Jody [?]

"We moved to Indiana"

Yeah, we know why you hadda leave Indiana ...

OrthoBuddy did his traumatology fellowship at OrthoIndy - they do the bone-fixing for the Indy Five Hunnert, and OrthoBuddy gott complimentary admission to the qualifying and the race when he was with OrthoIndy.

I theenk I tole diss story before, butt ...

... I went to visit him when he was at OrthoIndy (and he was batching it for his fellowship year - DaWife and his kids stayed where they were from his residency). He took me to a semi-fancy restaurant and, like me, he's a very simple-livin' dude. As I've stated previously, I'm basically a homeless guy with homes. So we were dressed roughly and were unshaven. As we were walking ~OUTT of the restaurant, this dude pulls up in a Mercedes 500-series and tosses the keys to us - he thought we were the parking valets. Which was odd because normally parking valets have to dress in a uniform.

We thought it was funny that he pegged us as parking valets and could nott possibly have been customers at that restaurant.

We ought to have kept his keys and just taken his coche for a ride while he ate. Butt alas, we tole him the truth and gave him his keys back.

I cannot conceive that he would have believed we did what we do for a living if we tole him. Instead, he might just have called the cops and tole them that there were some aggressive panhandlers/homeless dudes hanging ~OUTT in front of the restaurant.

Oh and my mom ran track in high skool also. That was in the very late '30s and early '40s.
