Rockleo,

Just wanted to remind everyone that the members of the study group who "contracted COVID" were symptomatic - there is no mention of being asymptomatic while participating. There are wildly different percentages in the strata groups who show symptoms - up to 80% of 10-19yo don't show symptoms if infected with COVID-19 which sinks to 30% of those 70yo and older.

The goal of these mRNA vaccines is to REDUCE the severity of the disease - NOT to prevent infection.

90% protection?? Seems to me more like it reduced being symptomatic to 10%.....The trials were basically a safety trial....not necessarily efficacy.

Very telling article on the wording of the vaccine announcements:

Rockleo, I am glad, this Thanks-Giving is over with. We did not have the traditional party in our house with relatives this year, just my wife my handicapped son and myself.

Your conclusion of the vaccines from Pfizer co. and Astra-Zeneca co. hit the nail right at the center of the head. {in my opinion}

Who wants to be among the first to take the vaccine and who trusts the Big Pharmas with their greedy attitudes?

The very ill, where the doctors almost give up, if they pull through or not, or a very unhappy person with suicide emotions, may want to try it?

But Rock; what then would you advise your patients to do? Take their chances with Covid by following the guidelines?
I think even those guidelines are no guarantee. ( didn't you report that 2 of your nurses came down with it)? I'm sure they took preventative steps as medical care givers would. Yet they got it!. Peoples behavior how so ever mindful cannot fully prevent exposures from those who behavior is not. Some are in denial still. Others have a "won't be me" attitude.

So what would be your prescription of prevention for your patients?
