if it is not a lie then it is insider information, because any information that is given to you and not to the public and you have been told to keep it confidential amounts to insider information.
By playing silly child games, you are implicating yourself in a mess you don't want to be in. If someone reports to the SEC your post claiming Charles Cotropia replied to your email and asked you to keep the contents confidential, and your subsequent post categorically stating what you posted earlier is not a lie, you are in triple deep doo-doo.
