I guess I look at it from a 180 degree view. What does the company gain by announcing data lock?
We’ve seen other positive information fall flat in the market. There just isn’t enough buy side pressure to push this stock up without cold hard data. Data lock is just a mile marker. What everyone really wants to see is the Top Line Data. Anything short of this is easily dismissed and at times has served as a rally point for the shorts.
I personally think it is to our advantage to keep the time line hazy. Let the shorts pull their game and get shocked by a TLD surprise.
If they really want SAB input and can trust that nothing leaks from the SAB, that can be difficult to coordinate. I don’t think they should do this as the risk of a leak is too great and investors should be the first people to view the data outside the company, but they are on record saying this is their plan.
So we wait a few more weeks. Hang in there, it should be worth the wait.
