Even though BP has "connections" I'm not sure how much of a "better result" they'd be able to get in the appeal trial if they were handling it instead of AMRN.
Anyone have any insight, experience, or ideas on this?
Funny and Bill, this is interesting and may hint that the expedited appeal is on BP request. Win or lose, BP will have a more clearer strategy to clean up the mess. Also, if with the expedited one, it could take up to a year according to Amarin, which is after EU approval.
1000% agree as well. This is absolutely the best course unless there is a favorable settlement. And, if there is ever a need for injunction bond, it will only be based on the legitimate use (profits from discounted price for 500TG sales--not only what generics hope to obtain from off-label thievery).
