Italy has a much older population and is a circus culturally. Germans are younger, richer, and for better or worse, they are the best organized people in the world. This outcome is the least surprising thing I can think of.
I didn't know that but Italy's rate is higher by a factor of 24. Huge.
I'm pretty sure that anybody who has COVID-19 and dies has COVID-19 put down as the cause of death. Which isn't inaccurate, in my opinion. It's a metaphysical question, not a scientific one.
My point is that a large portion of these people (elderly and sick) would have died with or without Cov19. Not minimizing how bad this is, but the numbers are probably skewed.
PS I just saw a 2 Amarin commercial in the last 15 minutes.
TTE@ If this was your local paper - would you believe this is serious ?
One wonders - now it is clear that the knowledge of the malaria drugs has been known at least since february 19 2020 in the west also - why the Italians and Spaniens did/do not use this hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) - but obviously it will have been impossible to find this any where in Italy - as the small supply there might have been in the area would have be picked up in hording right from the start.
About the knowledge about chloroquine already in US feb 19. look 17 minuttes into video herunder:
But it would have been impossible to find chloroquine anywhere on stock in Southern Europe for sure. The good news is that this i about to change - and hopefully this will be a gamechanger in the fight of the virus:
Part of the explanation may be in WHERE you test. If you test in the ICU.....if you test in the clinic waiting room....if you test in the street outside the clinic...…...
Check out a video that XENA LIVES posted: #253772
It is a German (subtitled) giving his description of the virus and how we got to where we are today
