Maybe they’re going to be introducing a new method and procedure and not a new line of silks. Who knows. I don’t really care. It’s all talk until they can sell something. What I do care about is the effect the PR had on the share price and I liked the bump we got out of it yesterday. Any action is better than no action.

Far as the r/s is concerned I agree with you there. CEO hasn’t announced the r/s is canceled because it’s not. As webslinger , pointed it out, he very much needs it to happen to maintain control. Sure, maybe he’d like it to coincide with an uplist so he can get better financing offers but he’ll still do the r/s even without an uplist if he has to.

These comments from some that they’ve been “assured” by a guy who talked to a guy who talked to an insider makes me laugh. How many times over the years , do the same ones claim to have the “inside scoop”. How’s that worked out for them to date. At best , they got their information from IR guru Ben, who’s proven himself to know even less than shareholders. Ben hints a lot without actually saying anything that can be held to account. It’s absurd.

<< why do I get the feeling that mass production is now going to be delayed a whole lot longer than anticipated? >>

I agree. Kim has a way of doing what magicians call "sleight of hand". You pay attention to the hand that is moving around (in order to distract people from looking at the other hand).

He has done this many times over the years. The latest was with the Army contract. KBLB was supposed to deliver 100 kilos of custom spidersilk to the Army (back in Aug 2018). But they never delivered anything. You would think that would be EXTREMELY important to investors. After all, the Army has been their ONLY customer in the history of the company. Yet not many investors ever seemed to complain about that. Why? Because Kim distracted them and started shouting about Vietnam with his "other hand". They "prepared" to ship the eggs to Vietnam (back in Oct 2018). They signed a pivotal agreement to import & raise silkworms in Vietnam (back in Nov 2018). They completed final facilities review in Vietnam for arrival of 1st batch of silkworms (back in Jan 2019). The eggs arrived in Vietnam (back in Jan 2019).

Meanwhile, very few ever really noticed that the Army deliverable never happened.

This will play out the same way.

<< well its obviously a new line of silk...wonder what its going to be called?..we have monster silk, dragon silk, and now mothra silk?..lol.. >>

I would agree that it seems to be another line of spidersilk. But I think the name Godzilla Silk goes more along with the past naming conventions. After all Godzilla is a monster (Monster Silk), and he is also a dragon (Dragon Silk).

The most recent PR stated:

"management will host an online presentation to introduce a game changing Spider Silk technological breakthrough"

A PR from Dec 9 stated:

KRAIG BIOCRAFT LABORATORIES’ RESEARCH TEAM READIES NEXT BREAKTHROUGH IN RECOMBINANT SPIDER SILK PERFORMANCE

ANN ARBOR, Mich., – December 9, 2019 –Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, announced today that its research and development (“R&D”) team has expanded their research focus far beyond the spider silk proteins in the Company’s Monster Silk and Dragon Silk products. These new protein designs have the potential to create new materials and open additional markets for the Company’s recombinant silk technologies.

With the additional research personal hired this year, the Company has been able to expand its R&D into new and exciting arenas. The lab team has recently identified innovative native protein sequences from an exotic species that has demonstrated performance beyond the capabilities of the Company’s current transgenics.

The DNA encoding, from specific portions of this species’ proteins, have been synthesized and are already in the Company’s labs. These proteins are believed to be responsible for the amazing performance that the native materials exhibit.

The R&D team employed its new “mix and match” assembly system, which allows for accelerated development and performance experimentation, to design the new DNA domains to integrate with the Company’s existing DNA constructs. This approach allows the Company to produce a fiber containing a blend of current technologies with new DNA constructs to form an array of new tailored materials.

“I am very excited by the possibilities these new DNA constructs can offer. By incorporating these new designs with our proven ‘mix and match’ assembly system, we are opening new doors and a vast array of end material properties.” said Chief Scientist, Trevor Kane, Ph.D. “I applaud my team for the willingness and determination to continually expand the cutting edge of transgenic spider silk research.”

The Company believes that these new DNA constructs should enhance future transgenic silkworm capabilities, as the isolated DNA, in these new proteins, exhibit higher performance than the Company’s original baseline transgenic spider silk proteins.

While the Company’s R&D team continues to push the boundaries of scientific possibilities, the Company will continue to advance the commercialization of its current suite of technologies, which have different target markets. In fact, the Company’s production arm, Prodigy Textiles, is preparing to make its first commercial delivery of enhanced fibers in the first quarter of 2020. In support of this phase, the Company’s COO will be travelling to Prodigy Textiles to oversee this exciting evolutionary step in its journey to commercialize and deliver spider silk on a global scale.

“im not expecting much more out of this silly pr without additional news being put out...”

I share your doubts. There are several factors in play. First is the long delay between the announcement and the event. That works against momentum. If the date was only a week away, investors would anticipate good news and drive the share price up. Three weeks, enthusiasm wanes.

Next we have the historical ‘Rise on the rumor, fall on the news’ dynamic. Thompson will have to outdo himself with this announcement. If he states we have 100% spider silk but doesn’t share strength measurements, production announcements, etc, investors will be disappointed. A new procedure will be important but I doubt the technical details will be appreciated. It’s too hard to understand the import, even if KBLB has made a genuine breakthrough. Speculators may spike the share price, but it won’t last.

It is very unlikely that KBLB will pair this with delivery news. The re-ignition would have to have started about Jan 19 to accommodate the silkworm life cycle plus time for reeling.

As always, I will be happy to be wrong about this.
