Power dissipation benefits of Driverless modulators would only be realized if the entire facility went driverless. Unfortunately, that's probably not going to happen any time soon.

I'm not going to make any estimates on the amount of power savings as I'm not up on the specifics. I'm not in the datacenter biz as I'm one of those nasty defense contractors.

However, my original statement still stands...if a modulator is able to be driven directly from CMOS, then there is no requirement for a Modulator Driver which contains an inefficient, lossy GaAs wideband amplifier that consumes a lot of power.

Multiply that times millions of channels and the savings become significant.

Jeunke said, I agree on MZ. I think they may have the time and the people ( which LWLG has not at the moment) and may have a network of relationships in the financial and investment community. I think there are some people here on ihub who have more subject knowledge than MZ.

I agree with all of that Jeunke, I think Karen's time is 100% over the top filled with all of the NDA engagements currently with Tier 1's in the Design-In process, MZ is new to the LWLG story, and it is a very complicated story for newbies to wrap their heads around, so yes, there are some Longs here with a much stronger knowledge of the technology than MZ, but I'm sure they are trying hard to come up to speed, the questions I have recently asked of Karen were forwarded to MZ, and they have not been able to respond to me in an effective manner yet, imo, generally just stating that questions are/will be answered in SEC filings, news releases, etc blah blah blah, no offense to MZ, but the one area that seems to be moving forward is the exposure aspect, since MZ came on board, 1) updated Investor presentation 2) WSR Lebby interview 3) Noble Investor conference, bring it MZ! keep em coming! I'm in favor of all exposure to as broad an audience as possible of the incredible story that is LWLG
