I have wondered about that possibility. Why would amrn give up market early to Teva? Being bought or merged was only explanation that makes sense to me.

Can I ask you, or any others who would like to opine, does Judge Du presiding over the TEVA case (which settled) have any impact on how she will see this new case?
Aren't many of the arguments/facts the same? Just wondering how it might affect her judgment either way.

The deal with TEVA is public information, and its crystal clear - TEVA gets to market a generic 6 to 8 months before the Marine patents expire - check the press release wording or 10-K filing.
That of means that AMRN undertook not to put any legal obstacles in TEVA's path - such as by asserting old or new patents, etc.
