Gary, I agree.

From what I understand there are actually services that a sponsor can pay to track down lost patients (or death certificates). But there is no reason to pay for this while the trial is still collecting data.

This should not be assumed to help the reported numbers though, as they are K/M where LTFU do not hurt.

Since this trial has gone on for at least for 4 years or more, in regards to the last patient. We may have 3 survivors now out of the 12 LTFU, since were running at a rate of about 20% to 30% OS.
..As you say there is no clarity on this issue until the final data is collected and the statisticians do a final tally. Regardless I to not believe the LTFU will effect the outcome of this trial,because there are so few. Would be nice to know Optunes pure data, without censures and LTFU though. IMO
